Heat Gun --- With some type of board (MDF or Wood) and burnisher (metal or any material that must have a handle for safety) to apply pressure. We have one in the paint shop and I'm sure there are some in the scene shop if we'd like to test out more than one model.
Hair Straightener Irons --- They sell small cheap ones for about $20 is stores like Target. I did pass by the cheaper irons being around $8. Even still, I think it might be worth it to give it a try. In the instance, the process is more offered towards table/standing work and it may fuse the plastic much faster because the iron is on both sides of the fusion point.
Plastic --- If we are going to having this test workshop we should be sure that we have several different types of plastic to see which material works and cooperates best. I know we have some 6 MIL and the green material which was around 2.0 MIL (?). The paint shop may have some small squares of plastic we can try out that are different sizes.
Wax Paper - I know people have had some trouble and some success with certain type of wax papers. If anyone knows a good one - suggest it please - if not, perhaps we grab two or three kinds and see which one is more affordable as well as durable.
Scissors/Sharpie/Measuring Tools/ Tape/Ext. Cords. - We should just make a huge "Barney Bag" for this stuff. (The Barney Bag reference was born in my childhood - and essentially was a bag that could hold just about everything and seemingly would never run out. We should figure out this magic ^_^)
